The Stanley Cup will be in the building for Game 5.

The Golden Knights are a win away from the franchise’s first Stanley Cup title after taking Game 4 against the Panthers 3-2 on Saturday night.

Vegas built a 3-0 lead with two goals from Chandler Stephenson and a tally by William Karlsson. The resilient Florida club refused to go away easily, battling back to make it a one-goal game, but the Panthers could not find the equalizer.

With a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series, the Golden Knights are a win away from clinching the franchise’s first NHL championship. Vegas lost in the 2018 Stanley Cup Final to Washington in the club’s other final appearance.

The Panthers find themselves in a familiar position — needing to rip off three consecutive victories to stave off elimination. Florida accomplished the feat in the first round, coming back from down 3-1 to knock off top seed Boston.
