Luton Town has been around for longer than Arsenal as a soccer club (albeit by one year). The South England team, established in 1885, is all the buzz now for securing its first ever promotion to the Premier League. Now, it is making headlines for adding a very atypical stadium to the 2023-24 EPL shuffle: Kenilworth Road.

Luton Town’s grounds were built and opened in 1905 and are in a clear need of renovating. It is unclear whether the EPL will mandate any renovations ahead of next season, but it would be no surprise. The stadium only seats 10,356 and didn’t become an all-seater until 1991.

Luton’s Kenilworth Road is made up of five stands. The one that has made waves is Oak Road End, the entrance where visiting fans from the largest Premier League clubs will have to enter next season. The entrance, tucked inside a townhouse structure identical to neighboring homes crosses the backyards of said neighbors.

In viral videos leading up to the Championship (England’s 2nd division) 3rd place playoff, which Luton won, visiting fans have filmed themselves peering into neighbor’s houses. Even zooming in and saying things like “I can see you do the wash!”
