After only three seasons back in the Premier League, Leeds United suffered relegation on the final day of the season and will be playing the Championship next year. McKennie faces an uncertain future following Leeds’ relegation, which came after the club sacked American coach Jesse Marsch. Parent club Juventus will not be in next season’s UEFA Champions League following a points deduction, but McKennie — the Texas native with 43 appearances for the USMNT — figures to return to Italy before learning where his future lies.
